Who we are
This site is operated by NZT Digital (“we”, “us”), a technical growth partner working across websites, marketing and automation for small businesses. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@nztdigital.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your email address and the contents of your message.
- When you become a customer: the details needed to deliver and invoice the work agreed with you, typically your name, business, email and the information the specific project needs.
Cookies, analytics & tracking
We use privacy-friendly, EU-hosted product analytics (PostHog) to understand how this website is used, which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked, so we can improve it. This sets a small number of first-party cookies and uses your browser’s local storage to recognise a returning visit, and we also run occasional A/B tests (showing different versions of a page to see which is clearer). We do not use advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites.
We also use Sentry to capture technical errors in your browser so we can fix faults quickly. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering those files. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to the site.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the work: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps to enter a contract.
- To take payment and deliver the service you ordered: performance of a contract.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this service:
- Cloudflare: hosting this website.
- PostHog (EU region): privacy-friendly website analytics and A/B testing.
- Sentry: capturing technical errors so we can fix them.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we’re in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, and order and payment records for as long as the law requires (typically six years for tax). When data is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@nztdigital.co.uk — see our contact page. We respond electronically and aim to do so within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
